It's often easier to see presence in action and we can easily point it out to someone than try to convey what it is through words. Lately, I have been using a lot of clips from reality television in particular dancing and singing competitions because as observers we can quickly sense whether someone has that specific quality - that presence - to make it, hopefully, as far as they want to go within their career. As Thomas Jefferson said, "Do you want to know who you are? Don't ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you" because "To know oneself is to study oneself in action with another person" (Bruce Lee). How will you be presence in action?
