Andrew Parrock (MSc, CMgr, MCMI) has, since graduating in 1980, been a teacher, a tax specialist and a manager. He retired in 2023 to write historical fiction. He spent 10 years as a volunteer mentor with undergraduate students at Brunel University as part of the National Mentoring Consortium. He established a Coaching programme in the HMRC office where he worked, and trained coach/mentors to take over when he retired. In recent years he has mentored students at UCL. He discovered coaching late in his career and has now become an accredited coach at Senior Practitioner Level with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
